  • My garage door wouldn't close, i found that the chain was off, climbed up to hook the chain back on, the sprocket was broken, apparently the sprocket breaking is a common problem due to age. This opener came with the house and is about 20+ years old. I seen the reviews of Markham Garage Doors on homestars, and decided to call them up to see if this was repairable. I talked to Chris, who was very pleasant to deal with, He said that it was repairable, so he said that they could be here in an hour. I talked to my wife, and she suggested that we should consider a new machine due to the age. I called Chris back and he recommended the liftmaster belt drive within my budget. Ryan the installer, came and did a clean amazing install, and lubed the entire system (rollers, spring ect). The new garage door opener came with a keypad, which we didnt have before. The belt driven opener is quiet !! compared to the previous chain drive. I am very happy i called Markham Garage Doors, and recommend them to anyone. What could have been a big headache was solved within 2 hrs. Prices are very competitive and fair.
