  • Lon's is amazing, I think it is my favorite special occasion restaurant in the Valley (at least near the very top of the list!). The gardens, patios and views are perfect Arizona, giving the feel of old-Phoenix getaways! From the moment the valet takes our car we start to feel like we are someplace special. A very friendly welcome and greeting from the hostess, and we are led to our table where everything from the appetizers to the wine and entrees was amazing. Our waiter, Troy, did a great job at both casually suggesting and educating menu items, and taking care of us throughout our dinner. The tuna appetizer searing on the block of salt was amazing, along with the filet and braised short ribs! At the end of our dinner, there was no urgency to rush out, we enjoyed the last of our wine followed by a stroll through the patio back to our car. We are looking forward to our next visit to Lon's.
