  • I recently brought in a very old gold and pearl necklace for repair. Two other jewellers had told they couldn't do the fix (it was tricky because it had been done once before with lead solder that needed to be cleaned off before a laser repair could be accomplished). A third jeweller had offered to fix the piece for $30 less than Marquis, but told me it would take a week and that they didn't give receipts (?) - I would just have to leave it with them with absolutely no proof that they had it! Marquis jewellers did an incredible job on this difficult fix. It was ready the next day, so perfect that you can barely tell where the repair is even when looking at it through a loupe AND they gave me paper proof that they had the necklace in their care. A fantastic experience worth the little extra that I paid!
