| - We've been to this place several times over the years. As a matter of fact, our family celebrated my daughter's second and fifth birthdays here (we did not have a "party" - so I'm not sure how that works - we just brought our own cake and had dinner here).
Anyone complaining about the pizza is missing the point. We don't come here to have a culinary experience; we come for the show (although the pizza is not bad. It's not great. It's exactly what you think it will taste like while you are reading this review. It's pizza, and you will probably like it unless you are really picky). I like the pizza, I love the fried mushrooms and... well, that's what we always get. We talk about getting dessert but then we fill up on that (good) pizza.
But the real reason to come is the ambiance, and of course the music. The organists know how to play songs that everyone can recognize and there is something for everyone to get excited about (the theme songs from Indiana Jones, Ghostbusters, and Star Wars, Thriller, Bohemian Rhapsody, etc.) Not only does the beautiful organ emerge from middle of a stage (and descend back into the stage during intermissions); there is movement on the walls from various instruments, and a little light show happening at the same time. My favorite part is when a curtain opens over a little alcove where four cat puppets dance. Kids love this place. Old people love this place. (They really do. Bring your grandma; she will love this place). And I love this place. It's been around for over 40 years, so most locals have been to it or at least heard of it. It's definitely worth checking out whether you live here or are passing through.
