  • I give this place one star and that's being generous. I went in for acupuncture for shoulder pain and instead was told to take herbs. I said I'm allergic to plants from the ragweed family and additionally, I take some supplements as a Nutritionist and I don't want to take anything that will not be compatible. (As Holistic nutritionists, we study Western herbs but not Chinese herbs) The practitioner said no problem she totally understands. She sold me a bunch of herbs combined for which I paid $60, I went home and proceeded to look up the names of the herbs she gave me.... I was allergic to 3 of them and one was chamomile which I specifically mentioned by name as an allergen for me. I tried to take it back and was told no refund, so I asked for acupuncture as an exchange which is what I originally wanted anyhow but they said no, all they can do was give me other herbs. No thanks. Not when I have no idea what's in those "customized herbal blends"
