rev:text	I've had pain on my root for years, and I was always told it was because of flat feet. My previous podiatrist gave me inserts and just told me to ice my feet at night but didn't find a solution to my problem. I decided to try a different podiatrist and it was the best decision I ever made. Dr. Peter Bregman was fantastic! I told him how I had this pain on my foot so I was sent to have x-rays done but nothing showed up. His office is equipped with technology that enabled Dr. Bregman to discover a mass on my foot through an ultrasound machine. At that point, he sent me to get an MRI done to determine what exactly I had inside my foot. I had the MRI done and it only confirmed I had a mass. He then told me I needed to have surgery done to have it removed. I had surgery the following week and it all went well. To everyone's surprise my mass turned out to be an accessory muscle! I had an extra muscle on my foot since birth that had been causing me pain all my 27 years of life! All of this happened within a month! I had a speedy recovery and was able to walk without any support a week after surgery. I was so satisfied with my experience because had I stayed with my previous podiatrist I would still be in pain. The staff was always friendly. Liz, the MA, was the best. She is so nice and full of energy and always has a smile on her face. Unlike other reviews, I never waited more than 15 minutes to be seen and appointments were available right away. It's been almost a month since I had surgery and I feel great. I am so thankful for Dr. Bergman for listening to my concern and doing everything to solve the problem. I have already recommended him to a few friends.
