Yeah, obviously a great place to look for vintage, mainly electric, guitars. If you are looking for a real '52 Telecaster, this is the place to look (just be prepared to pay $30-40 thousand). I bought a Gibson ES-335 '63 reissue that was on consignment there. An amazing guitar that plays like a dream. And I sold a Taylor acoustic at the same time and I appreciated the help they provided. I thought I heard that when the Stones were in town they would come here to buy guitars. Not sure if that's true but it shouldn't be a surprise if it were.
But I agree with other reviewers, some of the guys there(not all) seem to treat customers not just with aloofness, but with...disdain, which is a little irritating. Mind you, it's not as bad as the experience I had with the short, bald homunculus at She Said Boom! on College.
