| - Recently I went through the drive-through here,where an ill-trained tech loudly talked about my medication, calling it "VAGINAL CREAM". So much for privacy. Anyone at the indoor counter or waiting area in the store could hear it, as well as anyone who might have been in my vehicle. If anyone had been at the counter they'd have seen who was outside waiting for their "VAGINAL CREAM". How awkward. Aside from privacy violation, it's just stupid to talk to customers like that. The medication has a name. "Estrodial cream". Sounds better than than "VAGINAL CREAM" !
And,although I told the tech how felt about that, she tried brushing it off a total of three times, because I wouldn't let her get away with it, but she kept trying to brush it off. It made no difference to her. She seemed nice enough but VERY clueless. VERY CLUELESS.
So I called Judy, the Pharmacist, after I got home and spoke to her about the situation. She was polite, apologetic and professional. She told me SPECIFICALLY that I'd get a call from the Pharmacy manager the same day, between 4:00 and 5:00 PM.
The call never never came..........................
So I called back today {next day}. "Christie" answered the phone. I told her I needed to speak to the Pharmacist, and she proceeded to argue with me and try to question me. Note to Christie - if someone has a private matter they need to discuss with the Pharmacist,just pass the call to them.
And instead of passing the call to the Pharmacist, I was on hold a long time and then my call ended up being sent elsewhere inside the Walgreens store. Gee, I wonder how my call was transferred to the store and not the Pharmacist ? Did Christie do that because I had to order her to stop arguing with me and put the Pharmacist on the line ?
To top it all off, the "manager" of the Pharmacy, Erica, claimed that Judy had not passed on to her that she'd specifically told her I was expecting a call. She claimed Judy had only told her that "she'd already spoken to me" and that Judy had also said "if she wanted to", Erica could call me. Erica said it was her own fault for not calling me, {so why didn't she call me ?}, and that it was a "misunderstanding".
???
A misunderstanding ? No way.
Not a misunderstanding. It's one of these instead;
#1 - Judy irresponsibly never told her that I was EXPECTING a call because she'd SPECIFICALLY given me the time frame when I'd get that call.
OR;
#2 - Erica WAS told I was EXPECTING a call around 4:00 to 5:00 pm, BUT decided not to call me.
After thinking about what Erica had said, I called back to see if there was another Pharmacist there or if Judy was there, so I could inquire further as to why I was let down.
I got Erica on the phone, who was the only Pharmacist there. I was told Judy wouldn't be in until afternoon. I told her I wanted to ask Judy why things happened as they did to get her version of what happened.The grotesque thing is, Erica tried talking in circles, as if I'd fall for that.She kept terming it a "misunderstanding". That's so dishonest it made me sick.
I informed Erica that apparently she speak Englishs, in fact is a native English speaker, and so what does "misunderstanding" have to do with anything ? Either Judy told her that she,Judy, had promised me a phone call around 4:00 to 5:00 PM that day, or she didn't. If Judy DID TELL HER, then Erica was LYING when she claimed Judy didn't tell her that. Or, if Judy truly did NOT pass on to Erica that I was expecting a call at a specific time of day then JUDY is the one who dropped the ball, and apparently doesn't uphold promises.
I'M NOT USING THIS LOCATION EVER AGAIN.
It's very concerning when a PHARMACY MANAGER tries to get by on " it's a misunderstanding",when clearly either herself or Judy decided that I didn't need to receive the call I was promised. That sort of thing implies a lack of character and so does attempting to talk a customer in circles. IF YOU TELL A CUSTOMER THEY'LL RECEIVE A CALL, AND ESPECIALLY IF YOU INDICATE A SPECIFIC TIME FRAME FOR THE CALL, THEN MAKE SURE THEY GET THAT PHONE CALL. It's not exactly rocket science.
