  • Took a dress here for a small alteration of a strap that had come undone. The handiwork was perfect, and it was done within 30 minutes. One major caveat: they stained it. I had never worn this dress before (still had tags on, was in garment bag), and when I picked it up, there was a fresh stain near where the alteration was done. Luckily, it was on the inside lining and it doesn't show through when I wear it - thank goodness. Either way, it's a major red flag. I saw the woman who did the work eating from a plastic take-out container in the back, which is also where the work is done. I can't help but assume her hands weren't clean when she worked on my dress. I will definitely not be back.
