  • Absolutely loved every part of our stay in this hotel!! There is truly nothing not to like. My husband and I stayed in a 'superior suite' which is the least pricey option out of all the suites and we were blown away by the room. It was spacious, welcoming, decorated very nicely, and everything we could have wanted. There was a couch area near a TV that made up the sitting area. It was big enough for me and my parents to hang out here. We also had a wood burning fire place. I believe this is the only room in the 'superior suite' level that has one. Insider tip: we called ahead to request the fireplace and they said they could put a note in our file or we could pay $60 extra to reserve it. If someone else paid the $60, we wouldn't get it. We decided to take our chances and lucked out! The woman who checked us in told us this was her favorite room in the hotel, and we could see why! Our balcony faced the courtyard that Sinclair utilizes when it is warmer. The room also comes with robes and slippers! There is a safe in the closet and there was also a TV in front of the bed. Our room had 2 TVs!! Every night the housekeeping staff put 2 fresh bottles of complimentary water in the room and on Christmas Eve, we received a gift set of higher end L'Occitan products and cookies from Sinclair as a Christmas gift! Such a nice touch!! My only tip for the hotel is that the showers could use a little updating. Mostly just to match the sleekness of the rest of the bathroom and room. My parents stayed in an 'executive suite' which is a step up from ours, and honestly I found ours to be better. The bedroom was separate from the sitting room area and in order to make that happen, there had to be a very narrow and cramped hallway between the two. If choosing this hotel, I would just go with the 'signature suite' option. Located in the heart of Old Montreal, you are steps away from lovely sites such as Notre Dame Basilica and the Old Port as well as amazing shops and restaurants. The subway is only a few blocks away and the prices are so incredibly reasonable. The staff is friendly and lovely. If coming back to Montreal, I would absolutely stay here again. I can't recommend this hotel enough.
