  • All I wanted to do was buy a charger for my Macbook Pro as the cord had frayed and wire was exposed. The first employee hands me off to the Mac guy. This guy is running around flustered the entire time. There was ONE woman in front of me who had an appointment. As he wraps up with her, he keeps telling me he'll be with me in a moment. He tells me this four times in the space of two minutes as he runs around. He gets to me and asks if I have an appointment. I tell him no, all I want is a replacement for my charger for my macbook pro or a new charger. He asks if I have warranty. I tell him no, it's likely expired since the macbook is from 2011. He tells me to sit down at a table and that he'll have to check. That was the last time an apple employee talked to me for the next hour and fifteen minutes minus one guy who thought I was there for a tutorial course. I grew frustrated. On my phone, I looked up how to find out if your Macbook has warranty. It took me less than a minute to discover that I did not have warranty. This entire time the Mac guy is helping other people that came in after me, all of whom just happened to be women, while most of the other employees were standing around looking bored. Every time I would make eye contact with an Apple employee they would look away or glance at their feet awkwardly. The Mac guy kept telling every customer (all women) about how hard his day was because a bunch of people came in with no appointments while shaking his head. It was his icebreaker with customers rather than a hello. While I didn't have an appointment, I walked into the store, told him EXACTLY what I wanted, and he refused to help. I do not think it necessary to schedule an appointment 5 days away in order to buy a cord. The WORST Apple experience I have ever had and I've been to every Apple store in Vegas. I have had to replace a charger before and the process was much smoother at other stores. I have friends who work at Apple stores and they would be ashamed of this store. I took the money that I was going to spend at Apple and bought a replacement charger from a third party store. It works great! They have my money and Apple doesn't. Over an hour and fifteen minutes of waiting to be helped and not a single "How can I help you?" in between, one brave Apple employee finally spoke to me. "Have a nice day," as I walked out of the store.
