  • I purchased a 2011 Ford Fiesta back in September 2010. To close the deal, the salesperson threw in six free oil changes. I was happy with that as I'm one of those guys who likes to keep up on changing the oil when needed. Unfortunately, the more I've interacted at Power Ford, the more excited I am about being done with them. EVERY time I've gone in to change the oil, it's taken them a MINIMUM of TWO hours. Keep in mind, this is not me walking in for an oil change, this is me calling ahead and making an 'appointment'. I'm kinda sick and tired of seeing Mike Rowe on TV pushing ford service centers. I can go to wal-mart, spend $25 and get the same service in less than half the time. Last time I was in for an oil change (and kissed goodbye almost 3hrs of my life). I requested the service tech deactivate the 'auto-lock' feature. After they were all done, the service tech proceeded to lecture me how "you could've just done this yourself if you read the user manual...it's in there, you know". (For what it's worth, I DID read the manual...didn't see anything in there about auto-lock.) Regardless if it was in there, I bought a brand new car from this dealership...whatever happened to customer service AFTER the deal is done and they have my $$$? Completely unprofessional. As far as the actual dealership, someone needs to remind them that they're in Scottsdale, not south Glendale. The dealership is old, drabby and run down. Glass block fills the dark, dimly-lit sales floor with week-old balloons hanging from the ceiling and 80's era couches for the waiting service customers. One lone TV (rear projection, of course) is situated smack dab in the middle of the showroom floor. Good luck viewing it as all the glass block causes so much glare. Thirsty? Don't go looking near the (nasty) bathrooms. No water fountain here. Instead, it appears as if one of the sales guys got his hands on a 'sweet' circa-90's pepsi cooler and they decided to stock it with Kirkland signature water bottles. All things combined, I'm surprised that with all the upscale-ness of Scottsdale this place makes it. Lackluster customer service, a dirty, aged showroom floor and zero amenities means once I'm done using my free oil changes, I'm never going back.
