I had been excited for years to finally have the opportunity to dine at this wonderfully located establishment. Our experience went downhill the second we entered the restaurant and met the hostess. We were 2 couples, our friends from Montreal Canada made a French reference to the hostess upon entering and she was quick to let them know she didn't speak French and they were in America and should speak English.
Shocked upon hearing what this rude woman said was an understatement. I couldn't believe she said that to our friends also isn't this supposed to be a French restaurant? Anyway once seated I asked to speak to the manager of the restaurant about this rude sourpuss as I felt this was so rude I couldn't not say something. Very curious to know if anything was done about this employee unacceptiable.
Our waitress was nice enough but as for the food we ordered the French onion soup and a few other items, and it was a tale of 2 soups. One of the soups had nice cheese over flowing and the other was just soup no cheese. We asked our server to please make both soups look the same and he almost looked annoyed at our request.
The other food items were just ok nothing special and I would say the only high light of dining here was the view of the fountains. So we experienced expensive sub par food and the most rude welcome to a restaurant I have ever experienced in my life. We will not be returning as even a sub par meal with excellent costumer service will always taste better but rude beginning to end is a no go. Au Revoir Moni Ami Gabi no thank you.
