| - I came to Pro Automotive because of great reviews and a referral. I left Pro Automotive feeling cheated and sad. My car had a very complex problem that was not identified. Instead of solving the mechanical issue, they thought that it was the sensors and the computer that were sensing the wrong thing - when in fact, what they were sensing was ACTUALLY happening. After I spent $1000 to get my car out of their shop, and another $500 to get the actual issue fixed by someone, I called them and said I would be happy to pay for the parts, but wanted my money for labor back. Under Ohio consumer protection laws, this is actually more than fair on my part (consumers arent' liable for unnecessary repairs).
They said no, and that they needed to see the car again in order to determine what actually happen. After such a disastrous experience with them, there was no way I was letting them put my car back up on a lift.
I don't want to be personal about this as Rami seems to be an ok guy, but if you've need more than tires, brakes, and an oil change, you need to go to another shop with more technical expertise.
