  • I came here once or twice when it first opened a long time ago and I didn't think it was very good. I came back years later to meet up with a friend I haven't seen for a while because she chose it, expecting the same quality. I was pleasantly surprised at how much it changed. I could never understand why there was such a huge lineup every night when I drove past this place. Now I know. I got the Black Tonkotsu Ramen and usually I find that Japanese Ramen broths are too salty for my liking, but this time it wasn't. I drank the entire soup.. it was really good. I had 3 thick meaty cuts of charsiu which was another deterrent in the past where I remember getting two super thin and fatty cuts. Staff was super polite and nice. Although it was very busy, I'd say we were adequately attended too. I felt like we stayed a long time just chatting and they didn't even attempt to drive us out even though it was super busy. I'd need to go again to make sure it wasn't all a dream.
