| - Maybe I should've known that this wasn't my type of place, as I dread Chipotle-style assembly-line food, but I do love Mediterranean food, and Chipotle-style greek and Mediterranean seem to be all the rage these days. I have to say, though, that while I admire the number of options offered here (many more than Chipotle itself), the food didn't taste particularly authentic to me.
I chose to forego meat for falafel, and this may have been my first mistake. The falafel I got lacked the satisfying crunch I look for, and was frankly pretty bland. The pita was lacking as well, and was more the texture of grocery store pita than proper pita, which is generally far less doughy. Honestly, I let the owner recommend most of the items I chose for the bowl, as I wanted to make sure they'd go together well. They didn't, and it tasted more like a random jumble of food than a Mediterranean meal. It was certainly an ok value for the price, but that doesn't mean much when it doesn't taste that good.
