| - I came in here for my birthday, so I admit the 5 stars might be have a little "birthday bias" for a spot that could otherwise have been a 4 star review, but my experience here was definitely 5 stars.
I walked in and the place (which thanks to Yelp was not hard to find) was completely empty save for one guy at the bar (I wanted early reservations), and they had siphoned off the back of the bar for us which included a long couch, 2 or 3 comfy leather seats and a couple of glass tables, the perfect set up for a group of 6 or 7.
Our server was very friendly and with the early hour and lack of other patrons, we were given great service, and they had a $5 lemonade-ish drink special and it was amazing! All of us downed numerous drinks each and you add in shots of all kinds of vodka and you can assume that we (especially me) had quite a bit of that swishing around inside.
They have a good mix of "normal", premium and ultra premium vodka so you can be flexible in terms of budget even the "low end vodka" is not terrible, but for me I still found Belvedere (just a premium here) my vodka of choice even compared to some of their more expensive vodkas. And then we capped the night off with a $50 black caviar tasting to go with the vodka tasting menu, and I'm not going to pretend to know much about caviar since I've had it so few times, but the black caviar here was the perfect addition to our night of vodka consumption.
And you know that when they played Boney M's "Rasputin" a few times later on at night, the party just turned up to a whole new level! Drunk singing to Rasputin is fun times indeed!
Basically while they do have a few other bar options, do not come here if you're not looking for a great night of vodka drinking! The menu is definitely affordable but to get the full blown effect of "Russia's Greatest Love Machine" you best be willing to pay for more than just shots of Stolichnaya.
