  • Our chicken Maggie had been likely stung by a scorpion in the backyard having a very near death reaction. We scooped her up and went straight to their offices. It didn't look promising at all but our chickens are family to us. Two days overnight with oxygen, lots of tears and meds, and then she turned a corner. It was an expensive treatment but the quality of care and genuine love their team displayed made it all worth the experience. Various team members talked to us about all of the creative snacks they made/tried just to encourage her to eat again. She's at home now getting stronger everyday. Literally would not be here with her today without the team. I am extremely grateful and would do it all over again in a heartbeat if I ever had to.
