| - Had a very poor experience here. In a nutshell, the staff were rude and I felt like they were trying to con me. The story: I saw that they were accepting new spring inventory drop offs, so I decided to give this place a whirl. Everything I purged was from Aritzia, Club Monaco or Zara, and very well-taken care of (ie. dry-cleaned/lightly worn) so I didn't want to just give it all away. Yes, I knew from other people that Kind gives pennies for your pieces, but something is better than nothing, right? Plus, all my pieces were spring appropriate styles and colours. In the end, the associate says to me upon pickup "we'll be declining everything but you're WELCOME to donate it instead." I pressed for a reason: styles were on trend, brands & sizes (XS/S) were for sure easy to sell again, clothing well taken care of, some never worn with tags still on... I could tell I caught her in a lie. "They're just not the colours we're looking for right now." OK so tan, white, baby pink, florals, coral, green, ice blue and prints aren't spring? No, how about you just wanted my name brand pieces for free so you can 100% re-sell it in store!
I've happily donated everything to my condo's clothing drive for a women's shelter instead, and I'm feeling good about it.
