Well Dr. Hernandez my original complaint is my migraine which was never addressed at all. I also needed a note back to work I haven't seen him in a year he refused to give it to me which is perfectly fine and I understand that. I do have an appointment with him next Friday that was previously scheduled but now I'm seriously considering do I really want to see him. He did not even address my main concern today about my migraine over the phone and can really care less. The main concern was about the paperwork and didn't even care about my migraine that I had for 2 days I did not get the nurses name she wasn't that pleasant it was like I was an inconvenience to her. If you don't like what you're doing in the medical field I need don't like caring for patients get out of the medical field and do us all a favor. Meanwhile still at home in pain with no advice from my neurologist I will now have to go to the urgent care on my own instead of having a few couple words from my neurologist they could've at least said something or she could've said something but the whole drama was a better doctors note. I could really care less about the doctors now right now I'm more concerned about my migraine. Maybe they need to get their priorities right. I cannot tell you how many times he has canceled appointments on me in the last year and then for me to turn around to try to get an appointment with him and takes about three months and then they turn around and say well you haven't seen them since last May well who's fault is that I've had to cancel my appointment to. So unfortunately it is what it is now I'm not the only guilty party here as far as the appointment but I could not even say that to them and I'm sure the doctor doesn't have all The circumstances in his hand he's only going by what his nurses are telling him well maybe this will enlighten him because after my visit next week I am looking for a new neurologist you can believe that!! I would look for a new one right now but I've waited over three months for this appointment and my medications need to be refilled other than that I want to go to him at all. It's a shame what you have to do in this day and age for your medications!! Apparently it's OK for doctors to cancel appointments by God for bid a patient cancel appointment shame on the patient!! And shame on the patient if you get a migraine don't get a migraine because they'll leave you and left field and they won't address it at all!! Shame on you nurses and shame on you Doctor Hernandez!! Well I went in today to see the doctor and the head RN came in with him!! Felt kind of strange he asked me about my headaches took my paperwork and walked out!! I have been waiting for this appointment for months and he did not even give me a examination or address my migraines I was literally sitting there like is this really happening to me right now I paid $40 for this and waited all this time and took off a day of work for this!! So I proceed to open the door and speak with the head RN and explain everything!! Here it is not Dr Hernandez I will make that perfectly clear it is incompetent staff!! He was told that I no longer wish to see him!! If I have extreme migraines and there not getting better and I keep my appointment I think that means that I need to see you!! It is your medical assistants that are the problem that don't correlate proper information to the doctor and I was in so much pain when I initially wrote this!! If Southwest Medical wants to be cheap and only hire MA's just some food for thought maybe hire at least one LPN or RN that knows what they are doing so they can properly communicate with the doctor!!! My visit with Dr Hernandez ended up on a good note!! Southwest Medical it might be a good investment to hire properly educated people so that you don't have these issues. I work in the medical field for a very well known practice we definitely do not have these issues at our office and would be totally unacceptable and on another note when our doctors cancel on the patients appointment we accommodate them we do not make them reschedule and wait another 3 months which happened twice to me that is totally unacceptable!! I really hope that you can take some of these comments and bring your standards of how you practice medicine up to par for better patient care!! Thank you Dr Hernandez you are a wonderful doctor and even though you were misinformed and the visit started out rocky it did end on a good note!! Dr Hernandez is good at what he does or else I would not have put up with petty MA's!!! Thank you again Dr Hernandez!!
