  • The cafe itself is really charming-- lots of local art on the walls. The service was friendly. The food-- pretty good. My jambalaya was a disappointment-- just some rice with a rather plain tomato sauce and a few chunks of sausage, chicken and shrimp thrown almost as an afterthought. Nothing stewed together to meld the flavors. It required much, much hot sauce. My companions chirozo burritos were really good, with the right amount of spice. the accompanying potatoes were bland without copious amounts of hot sauce. The kids' menu items were tasty. Maybe I'll try brunch.
