  • I really really wanted to like this place. I'm sorry. I went here for dinner, so I might need to go back here for brunch. Here are my notes: 1. Menu online is not the the same as in person. There was crawfish on the online menu...none in person....grrrrrrrr! 2. Bacon Mac N Cheese -- too salty 3. Braised beef ribs -- very good, but temperature was a little on the cold side 4. Jambalaya -- just ok, the sausage was hella dry 5. Service was excellent Overall, I'd probably give it 2.5 stars and I'd go back to see if they made improvements. My girlfriend, who grew up in Louisiana, also felt the same about this place as well. Love the idea of a soul food joint though.
