  • I wanted to surprise my wife with something special for our 10th Anniversary. I had a knee surgery scheduled for the beginning of June, which would crush our hopes of having a fun anniversary at the end of the month. I wanted to do something special that would be a welcome surprise to my wife and tell her just how much she means to me. My wife was coming home from speaking at a conference out east and I decided to surprise her with a top tier wedding cake that was a complete match to our wedding cake from 10 years earlier. I also found the exact champagne we toasted with as we had our cake at the celebration 10 years earlier. We cut the cake with the same engraved knife we used 10 years ago. We drank from the same engraved champagne flutes we toasted with 10 years ago. It was a TOTAL WIN! We had an awesome time! The Cake was FAR better than the one we had 10 years ago, and the one we had 10 years ago was actually very good. Cheryl at CC's Sweet Sensations makes a REALLY GOOD cake you guys. I'm actually planning to order another one at the end of the month to celebrate again, because seriously you guys, this is really REALLY good cake! Thank you, Cheryl, for making such a wonderful cake for us. And seriously, I'll be calling in a week or so to order another one for our actual anniversary date at the end of the month. I need my CC's cake fix.
