  • For those of you who are under the false impression that Yorkdale mall -- home of the cell phone charm and screaming child -- is the best of its kind in Toronto, then it its time to face facts and a lot of fun. Sherway Gardens is - though it is technically not in Toronto -- the best mall in the city (or GTA that is). It is clean, spacious, well designed, and not that loud. And it offers up all the stores that may entice you to Buffalo (Nike, Abercrombie etc.) -- the armpit of America (excluding of course Victoria's Secret and Target). Sherway Gardens is of course in Etobicoke, so it's like going out of town without actually having to venture into Bush territory. Tip: Boys if your girls want to go shopping take them there, there's lots of leather seating in the hallways.
