| - I attended the finale of the Ultimate Fighter at Park Theater in December 2017. Park Theater is a smaller venue, which seats around 5,000 people, located at the Monte Carlo. While there are plenty of positives to seeing a show at Park Theater, it is by no means the best venue of this size in town.
Since Park is a small venue, the vast majority of the seats have an excellent view of the stage. Sadly the actually seats leave a bit to be desired in terms of comfort.
One downside to Park Theater is a lack of food being sold at the concession stands. The event we attended was over 5 hours, and the only food available to purchase was popcorn. On the bright side, re-entry is allowed so we went to a restaurant, had a meal and returned. It worked for us, but it was by no means an ideal situation.
A majority of the staff that we interacted with were friendly and helpful, especially those directing us to our seats.
Another downside to attending a show at Park Theater is the parking. Paid parking has become the norm on the Las Vegas strip, and the Monte Carlo's parking garage is actually one of the cheaper parking structures on the Las Vegas Strip. This parking structure is also used for T Mobile Arena, so it can be frustrating to get into and out of and can fill up if there are events happening at both venues.
I would attend more events at this venue, provided I was able to get a good deal on tickets, but there are other venues in town I greatly prefer over Park Theater.
