Last time I ate in a Chinese restaurant I was, well, literally in China. While the American version of Chinese cuisine is prolific here, the number of restaurants that can actually prepare it well are few. Baoding is the shining exception.
I am always impressed with the happiness of the staff. And it's contagious. Someone at the top sets a great example 'cause you can't fake enthusiasm forever. Xiexie!
Food quality is excellent and priced accordingly. The evening menu has greater variety more akin to China, without traveling there to get it. I'm interested in tasting their Beijing Duck. I wonder if it's anything like the real Peking Duck. Next time.
So, in the mood for Chinese food? Look no further than Baoding. I say, "Give 'em a whirl!"
