| - We enjoyed our meal @ Wicked Spoon quite much.
I liked it even more cuz my meal was... FREE. =)
Hubs found out that if you sign up for Cosmopolitan's Identity membership (downstairs), you get free stuff - he won me meal @ WS. muahaha XD
Favorites:
+Mussels & the curry clams!! -- fresh and with lots of meat. =)
+Prime rib -- perfect medium rare, juicy, and tender!! =)
+Shrimp cocktail -- fresh and delicious.
+Butternut squash ravioli -- good sweet filling
+Chocolate dipped strawberries --- *SMILES* love how sweet these were
+Salmon plate -- a little on the fatty side but went well with the mixed grains
+Snapper plate -- loved the texture
+Gelato bar -- mm.. they had strawberry balsamic gelato!! =)
NO SNOW CRABS though. =(
... not as good as Studio B (M Buffet), but probably more creative & gutsy with their food.
--------------------
They also had galbi, short ribs, ham, dim sum, pizzas, breakfast paninis
and just tons of choices. I love how they prepared most items in little cute serving "pots". ... my buffet eating strategy has always been to eat as few carbs
as possible during the main meal (i save that for dessert!)
Only gripe is that they do not serve greens w/o dressing (all prepared salads).
Service was pretty good, but we did wonder where order server went a few times.
There are two lines .. one is "hidden" like disneyland. The paying line and the waiting for table line (hidden and usually longer). Wait was not bad, probably 10 minutes total -- though, we were lucky that friends stood in line for us - so probably 20 min really.
