I should have known better then to end my last review with "I hope I don't have to be back anytime soon" because not even a month later I was back but with my other dog Belle.
She came down with an awful case of bloody diarrhea. I tried everything to avoid having to bring her to the vet because with my last bout of diarrhea with Tag I left my old vets office with a $500 bill.
Dr. Sara and her staff were once again amazing. I woke up Saturday am and my husband and I were so concerned about Belle that I quickly rushed her to their office. I was there around 7:50 and their office opens at 8 but they were there greeting another patient for an 8 am appointment and I asked if they could squeeze me in.
Dr. Sara saw her first patient and then came and looked at Belle around 8:30. We discussed treatment options and she gave me two different routes. One more invasive (aka costlier) route and one that treated the issue she thought she had. Gastroenteritis.
The more expensive route required X-rays and blood work and she said she felt confident after feeling her belly that there wasn't a sensitive spot so there really is no need for the x Rays. ***Insert breath of fresh air***
Seriously, a vet that doesn't rip you off is a God send. We went home with medication and she gave me some reasons why we should rush her to the emergency vet and also let me know that I could email her Sunday if she wasn't getting better.
The turn around was less then 12 hours and she was back to her normal self. Thanks dr. Sara and staff.
Oh...side note (WARNING: super disgusting)
My sweet pup had the most disgusting amount of bloody diarrhea that she let go right in the middle of the exam room all over her leash and on the floor. They cleaned the floor up and then offered to clean my leash for me. They go over and above. Thanks guys!
