  • I have found Sonoma to be much better during restaurant week than at other times. The last time I went there for dinner with a few colleagues (during a non-restaurant week time), service was extremely slow and the food was just average. (The menu was also different than during the last restaurant week.) I was embarrassed for recommending the place! However, during the 3-for-$30 restaurant week promotions, Sonoma's service has been faster and more attentive. I also like the fact they offer the full menu during the promotion, so you have a chance to try several things for a reasonable price. I only wish they offered this service during all other times! Because of these inconsistencies, I will only return to Sonoma during restaurant week and I no longer recommend it to my friends. Too bad, because Sonoma could be so much better!
