  • The food is actually very good at Big Ten Pub, but on game days they do have a limited menu which consists of very average stuff. Football Saturdays can be a zoo, as well as during other sporting events such as the high school football playoffs. If this is when you have gone to the Big Ten, you really did not get a good view of the place. To really enjoy the GOOD food, take in their daily lunch specials or the fish fry on Fridays. It is one of the best, if not THE best in Madison. A true hidden gem. Get there early or you won't get a seat! I have gone to Big Ten Pub for years and I have seen it under different owners, and I can say that the current ownership is excellent and the help is outstanding. Great service... friendly and with an attitude!
