My Dental office is behind mall. I only shop at JCP every six months after a cleaning and I always buy a new pair of work shoes. Last visit -JCP did not have size. So I order on line with store pickup. So I go to pick up shoes. Cashier "Jackie" asked for my phone #, then receipt, then photo ID. Then she asked for the credit card which order was placed. I could not remember which card I used. Jackie got upset, Handed me back the receipt, said it on receipt. I could not find it, so she takes back receipt, circles location for me. I cant find card still. Jackie then tells me, if I can't find card card. JCP will not hold shoes. I explain to Jackie, the guest you just helped before me. You only asked for phone #, without receipt, ID or Credit card.
Jackie if your gonna make up your own store policies. Please be consistent.
Update: I found the same work shoes on Amazon with free shipping for less. Thank you for helping me save money and the confusion of going back to JCP....
