  • Solid neighborhood hardware store with a helpful staff that's eager to get you exactly what you need. No trudging up and down the aisles hoping to find someone (who almost invariably isn't much help). Here there are two or three people nearby. I especially appreciate the extra time employees like Stephanie (in the garden department) are willing to spend in order to help get your project right the first time. The wide selection of fasteners and specialty hardware are also really useful when you're looking for that oddball part and they did a really great job color matching some paint for us from a tiny chip. Sure some things might be a few more pennies than the box stores, but what we save on time, gas, and aggravation tips the scale to Ace nearly every time.
