  • Never take your animals here. They are HORRIBLE! Four years ago, I brought my 5 month old kitten here to get spayed and declawed. Everything seemed fine after I brought her home that evening but when she started moving around more the next day she started itching her ears a little bit. I noticed it but I didn't think too much of it. Then the next day it was worse. She was itching her ears even more with her back claws. I looked in her ears and didn't see anything so I waited til the next day to see if she was still itching them. That's when I saw that she had been scratching them so bad that the skin right in front of the openings of her ears were both bleeding from her scratching them so bad. After quick research, I realized she had EAR MITES! Gross! And I felt so bad for my little kitten and I had to get medicine for her right away. And then I had to put drops in her ears every day, twice a day for about a week and a half to 2 weeks. Not only was it a big pain for me but she hated them as well. I also had to vacuum the carpet every day and throw out the bag immediately since the ear mites can crawl back out of the vacuum after its put away, and crawl back into the carpet. Now, last December, I got another kitten who was already neutered so I took him in to get declawed in March of this year, once he was 5 months old. I thought that maybe the last time was kind of a fluke with my other cat and that it probably wouldn't happen again. I think I convinced myself that because their prices are so low compared to anywhere else I looked. Big mistake! Last month, 5 months after my little Joey got declawed, I decided to examine his paws because when I was playing with him with a string he hit his paw on my hand and it hurt, like he scratched me. I looked at his paws closer and realized that 2 OF HIS CLAWS ARE GROWING BACK!! And not like they looked before, it is a thin sliver of a nail now. It looks like half of a thin sliced almond (just so you can imagine it) sticking out of his little paw. I am furious!!! First they gave my first cat ear mites by either not separating other infected animals properly, or but not cleaning their surfaces properly where they examine or work on the animals. And now, my other cat has slivers of nails growing back!! So now I have to put the poor little guy through another surgery and spend another good chunk of money for a second surgery. One thing is for sure though, I am not taking him back there to get it done. Who knows what he would come back with....or if he would come back at all this time!! I wouldn't be surprised with these vets.
