I finally got to go visit Nathan Phillips Square, the touristy heart of Toronto. I even got to go on Canada Day weekend, for extra touristy goodness.
It's a great public space, well designed, and although a lot of it was roped off during the holiday weekend, I see why it's a bit of a draw. It's a magnet for food trucks, and a really cool place for people watching. There's the Toronto sign of course, which I got a few pictures of. And it's neat to see the Toronto City Hall, which is a striking piece of architecture.
So yeah, definitely worth stopping by and checking out if you're in this part of downtown. Get a picture with the sign!
