  • I've always liked this place- the coffee (they brew Alterra here) is the strongest around. It's like rocket fuel. I have no idea why I haven't reviewed it before, since I used to live right across the street. Doy. MF has these other things going for it, too: vegan bakery, soup from scratch, good music (including live shows!), lots of seating for internetz folks, and real-deal quirkyness. The ever-changing mural on the side of the building is really neat, too. The only tiny flaw? They lack any more substantial food choices. Even a pre-made sammy wrapped in plastic and a bag of chips would be nice...
