Definitely a must if you are in Pittsburgh! Great views of the City of Bridges (check out the photos). Park across the Roberto Clemente Bridge (6th St), and pay $7 for event parking. Buy a bottle of water ($1) on your walk over to PNC Park- if it is unopened, you can take it in.
If you get to the event early, check out Point State Park Fountain, which is half a mile walk away or Market Square with its restaurants and coffee shops- or get a scoop of ice cream at Dream Cream.
Once in the Park, grab Crab Fries from Chickie's and Pete's and a beer at any one of the many stands. There is a craft beer place on the 3rd floor, BRGR on 1st, and many more dining options.
The crowd is great, and everyone is there to have a good time. You can also witness the quirkiness of Pgh- they do a Pierogie Race (not an eating contest, but a racing contest).
