  • I am actually astounded that this location is still in business. They keep changing management going from bad to beyond WORSE. I spoke with the new location at Scottsdale Road and Pinnacle Peak and they had NOTHING good to say about their management or facility either. I cancelled my daughters' membership on 7/27 fully aware of their policy, which would include one final payment for August. My FIL had been paying the monthly fee as a reward for my daughter, so I was unaware that he was still being charged EVERY MONTH since then. I cannot even imagine how completely inept this management team is... So, keep in mind that I (my FIL) was being charged every month with no correspondence (ie-emails) confirming the monthly charge until December. For some bazaar (meaning bad management) reason I received an email in December saying that I was charged for December (after having no correspondence for all these months). Of course I called first thing in the morning (7:30 am) and was told by Thomas that Charlie (a manager) would call me ASAP because he can clearly see my cancellation letter and cannot explain why the charges would have started up again(keep in mind that, of course, I completely forgot that it was my FIL's credit card that was on file) so while I was waiting for Charlie to finally return my call I called my bank and they had no charges yet...well, Charlie NEVER called, so I ended up having to go there myself (PITA) When I got there of course Charlie was just hanging out and so I asked him why he hasn't called me back from 5 hours before-his VERY SNIDE response was "well I've been training the whole time" oh really I say and I just so happen to come in at the exact moment that you were finally able to come out of the studio Interesting?! So, obviously we got off to a great start!! He looked into it and sure enough he saw what Thomas saw and what I KNEW, and actually apologized(sincerely) and said that he noticed that we were charged for November too and he will take care of both charges!! So, I went on vacation thinking everything was taken care of, until yesterday, when my FIL called asking about all of these charges...(Charlie did take care of one charge, for December, but none of the other charges were credited and now I was pissed and confused as to how this was still going on and that's when I found out that THEY HAVE CONTINUALLY BEEN CHARGING HIM SINCE SEPTEMBER I immediately called and spoke with Eddie (who said he was the night manager) of course he saw what I saw, what Thomas saw and what Charlie saw...he proceeded to apologize (sincerely) and said that Charlie quit and was obviously "checked out" and that if ANYONE could fix it, it would be Anthony (who was a manager and would be there in the morning) he suggested I come in and bring proof of the charges and Charlie would TAKE CARE OF EVERYTHING.... So imagine my surprise when I met Anthony and he was a rude, condescending person that took NO OWNERSHIP for what had occurred. He started looking into the account and he said that November and December had actually been credited back and asked me to come behind the desk so I could see what he saw and sure enough it showed two credits (1 for nov and one for December) but sept, October and January would still have to be credited. I told him my FIL only had the credit for December and showed him all of his statements. He said well there is nothing I can do about November. That's when I called my FIL to confirm that there was no credit for November-which he did-but keep in mind that he hadn't noticed ALL THESE CHARGES FOR ALL OF THESE MONTHS, so I wasn't so sure if he just didn't see it for some reason (he is older and this was a stressful situation since we were talking about quite a bit of money). I must have "shushed" the "precious and insecure" Anthony because I was trying to pay attention to my FIL AND NOT ASK FOR NOVEMBER's PAYMENT IF HE WAS IN FACT CREDITED. Well that's when things took a really bad turn, if I thought that Anthony was rude and callous before the "shushing" I was in for a rude awakening as to HOW RUDE AND CALLOUS little Anthony could get! When i got off the phone his attitude went from bad to worse and I was not having it! Hey, I'm the customer here and you (Orange Theory) was conducting fraudulent business practices!!! So when he got nasty, I got nastier! Bad language ensued...3 times as a matter of fact-Anthony was counting! So now he tells me he's just trying to "help" and HE DIDNT DO THIS!! I'm like, wait a second, aren't you the manager for Orange Theory? He's like yes but this was Charlie's fault-NO OWNERSHIP AT ALL! I told him if you work for Orange Theory then you ARE Orange Theory! It just went downhill from there-i.e. Him telling me I have no class-me telling him he's right! WTF, it wasn't pretty...now here I sit writing this NOVEL, wasting my classless time on this nonsense and truly hoping that I can save someone else the aggravation I am feeling
