  • My husband and I booked a Fri and Sat night here because it was ridiculously cheap. We got into town at 5pm on Fri. Parking in the garage was a bit of a pain. We ended up, luckily, finding a spot on the very top floor just as someone was pulling out. The check in line was so long and the folks behind the desk were slower than molasses. One girl suggested the self check in so we walked over just for it not to work. Also only 2 of the 3 stations were working. It pulled up my reservation but wouldn't let us check in. Back to the long line we went.... So we get checked in without any further issues, were given a coupon book (which we didn't use anything in it) and got up the the room (we stayed in a non-smoking, king bed room in the Monaco tower). Everything seemed okay, the room was clean. We headed down to the steakhouse for dinner with friends. The food was quite tasty and the service was really good given our big party. After dinner we headed upstairs for some TV and bed. The next morning we woke and had brunch down in Wicked Vicky's Tavern with friends. We were there about 10:30 AM but didn't get seated until 11 AM so we missed breakfast. This made me quite sad. The food was good, the service was okay. Nothing to write home about. We headed back up to our room and got ready to go out for the day. We were in town for a wedding so we left about 2 PM. We were gone all afternoon and evening. When we arrived back at 9:30 PM we couldn't get into our room. We headed downstairs and got new keys but they didn't work either. So back down we went.... The guy behind the desk called the bellhop but he wasn't able to get in the room. We were told they'd call maintenance and security. Neither of them could get in and we were told they'd have to call a locksmith. Ugh.... So we were moved rooms but got a double bed. I called and they moved us again to a single king bed room up on the top floor. We asked to be comped somehow for the trouble and we were told they'd take off 1 of the 2 days resort fees. Whoopdie, $15 off. We headed back out to be with our friends. At 11:30 PM we stopped by the front desk to ask if they had gotten access to our room. My husband asked asked about being comped again and they wiped the 2nd night resort fee. They sent up another maintenance guy who could get in. Finally..... So we gathered all our stuff and headed to the new room. This maintenance guy was the most apologetic of everyone - sad that the maintenance guy seemed more sincere than the front desk. Check out the next morning was fairly painless. They had 2 of the 3 self check in/out stations working. They rebooted the one I used just before using it and it worked. But the girl beside me was frozen and couldn't check out. Overall... It was cheap, comfortable and clean for the price.
