| - My go-to beer place, made better by an excellent kitchen. Chef Brian has a solid menu with pizzas, giant burgers, salads, wings, etc. A huge step above standard bar fare. Daily specials are incredible. We shared a Reuben that was amazing. Deserts include table-side S'mores, made with home-baked graham crackers, homemade marshmallows, and imported chocolate. Diners toast their marshmallows over a fire. Mmmmm.
Bartenders are knowledgeable about the 36 drafts and hundreds of bottles, and the menu provides beer pairing suggestions.
The deck is open in all but severe cold weather and the crowd is a laid back mix of regulars and newbies.
For a special treat, try to reserve a spot (they sell-out in hours) for a monthly beer-food pairing. A breweries' selections are paired with five courses of gourmet food. I attend most, and have yet to have a course that wasn't amazing.
