I've always wanted to come to this festival and luckily we got complimentary tickets for this event. It was a very nice setting but, in my opinion, poorly organized. We had a hard time finding designated areas due to the lack of signage. We asked several of event staff with little or no luck. One of the staff didn't know how to get to the beer garden only to find out, on our own, that it was directly behind his booth! Uggh!
I wish they had offered more than one option for the beer garden. They gave a card good for 20 samples of beer and cider. The mini mug was about a four ounce pour. I made it thru 6 and I was done! LOL Great selection of beer and ciders. I was happy to have some gluten free options.
They had several stages with live music. I especially liked listening to Rock Lobster. I've seen them around for many years and they always put on a fun show.
All in all, it was a nice festival. It was a great charity event. With a few needed improvements, i.e.: better parking directions, easing the flow of walking traffic, better education for event employees and using more visible signs, I may return next year.
Great time of year for this :),
