| - The studio is absolutely beautiful! The teacher was knowledgeable and friendly, though she reprimanded me when I left the room. This was my very first Bikram and I was very dizzy about four times. I didn't WANT to leave the room, I HAD to leave the room. My mistake was getting there a half hour early and stretching in the hot room. I should have avoided the heat until the class began. I'm flexible, so the asanas were only slightly challenging, but the humid heat left me short of breath almost throughout the class. I only gave it Four stars because I didn't jive w that particular instructor, but overall, the yoga room had a floor that was so comfortable you barely needed a mat. Awesome lockers with a one use code that you select, a store, rentals, private showers and toilets, hair dryer, and plenty of floor space. If you're new to Bikram drink LOTS of water, maybe even Gatorade before and after class. Few opportunities to drink during class which still ran late. Give yourself plenty of time before and after class. Bring a towel for use in class and an extra for the shower after, along w a change in clothes. Flip flops are easiest. Eat a small, easily digested snack before and after class. You'll need the calories. Ladies, wear ponytails high in head, otherwise, you'll be laying on it in corpse pose, which is very uncomfortable. Wear a sports bra and tight shorts. Anything else will hold in heat. I hope this helps any newbies like me.
