I never understood America's obsession with Walmart. I mean, Supercenters are a one-stop shop and open 24 hours, so I can appreciate the convenience offered to consumers. I can't get past the overcrowded parking lots, the hordes of people in the store, the long lines at the registers, and the disinterested employees, though. People say Walmart is cheap. No, it's not. Their prices are the same as every other retailer. Guess what? Target and Best Buy price match now. Another things that bugs me about Walmart - Why is everyone wearing sweatpants?? Ew.
Don't get me wrong, the Walmart Supercenter has a few things going for it. Returns are generally a breeze and price matching for groceries is effortless since the cashiers don't bother to verify the prices you're throwing at them. Personally, I do my best to avoid Walmart and only come here when other retailers are closed.
