  • This place is a part of what makes Unionville so charming. There's the Main Street, but everyone walking down Main Street is just pretending like there's a purpose other than the pond to make their way here. For those who grew up in Markham, there are memories of what this place means during the day, and what this place means at night. And those are two different monsters. It's a beautiful place to stroll around - and the people there are also there for a walk. Some of the other reviewers may be too full of anger and racial prejudice to simply enjoy a nice walk by the water. And that's fine. That's them. But don't let the tainted lens that they view the world through keep you away. It's one of the best places to spend some free time in Markham. And hey - if you're a Gilmore Girls fan, what with the new resurgence and all, why not come to the original Stars Hollow?
