  • Visited Deejai for the first time with friends on a couples date night. Was able to find a cool Groupon so why not try it out right lol. Food was cooked well and it was very delicious. They have the typical array of curries and the calamari was pretty good. I judge a place by their calamari . My friends being it was our first time asked our waitress what would see recommend and she seemed to give us a weird stare that lasted a few seconds. Maybe it was her way of thinking but the way it came across was almost rude or bothered. She eventually told us what is popular based on other customers but said she didn't eat the food here which almost sent up red flags but she could have been vegetarian. Anyway moving on. Our food and drinks were well prepared so for food & drinks I would give Deejai 4 stars but for customer service it's more of a 2.5 or 3 stars. We didn't feel like our waitress was very friendly and don't recall her smiling once. Another thing that bothered us was, the restaurant was closing in 30 mins and she basically told us we couldn't order any more drinks and we felt like we were being pushed out. My review is strictly based on food & drinks but feel the service could have been much better.
