  • They cleaned our items fine, but did not honor the coupon I clearly presented at drop off, and did not offer any kind of discount for the overpriced service. The gentleman at the desk was polite and pleasant but this refusal to honor the coupon was off putting. It was certainly not his fault since he had to follow the rules set by Al Phillips managers, so I did not push the issue, but I was disappointed of the peculiar treatment and not applying their own promotions. When you pick up your item, you are stuck having to pay whatever they say! There are a ton of cheaper and better cleaners all around this part of town - just go there. Al Phillips in general is grossly overpriced for average work anyway - clothes always come back with some wrinkles here and there. Local mom and pop cleaners are much more careful with your clothes and do it with a smile. We should patronize them more - I certainly will.
