Home Depot is a good place when you need to fix something or renovate. The strong point of Home Depot is that there are lots of odd pieces here and there for every model of everything in your home. The staff here are generally knowledgeable and will approach you to see if you need help rather than stand around or try to avoid you (which I have seen). Prices are decent. I'm sure you could find better, but you do pay a price for convenience and knowledgeable staff. And really, why scavenge around to save a couple of dollars on that random O-ring you need to fix your sink?
