  • I wasn't that impressed with the aquarium but maybe it's because I've been very spoiled by the Shedd aquarium in Chicago and the Aquarium of the Smokies in Gatlinburg. I don't know. All I do know is that the Emmy's post party was held here. It was incredibly hot, stuffy, and humid down there and honestly most of the tanks seemed a bit cloudy and not that clean. The shark tank tube was very cool, but again, just too hot for folks to be running around in formal wear and three piece suits. We thought it was going to be a wild party down there... it wasn't. We didn't stay long and left mostly because of the heat. The crazy thing was is that it wasn't that hot outside but felt like a sauna inside the aquarium. My husband was dripping and had to go to the men's room to put a cold towel on his face just to cool down. Everyone inside this building just needs to pony up the dough and completely overhaul their ventilation and AC system. I can't imagine what that place would feel like in the middle of the summer!
