| - Overall this is a nice place that I enjoyed, but my wife wasn't overjoyed with; I wouldn't mind going there again.
Calimari appetizer was quite good, lightly fried, not rubbery, good sauces, one with some kick. The bread we got was a bit of a disappointment; it wasn't warm or very flavorful. Caesar salads were average, and took a while, even though we got there before the dinner rush on a Saturday night.
I had the chicken marsala, my wife had the shrimp scampi with Alfredo sauce. I enjoyed the chicken, which came with a size of spaghetti with mushrooms, which was also good. My wife didn't care for the shrimp scampi and found the Alfredo sauce thin, though I found it flavorful and think the shrimp were prepared perfectly. Neither of us knew what to make of the large red onions in the dish. (They were out of the homemade butternut squash ravioli, even though the dinner rush had just started. I didn't find that out til I ordered it.)
Great, attentive service. Not much for ambience. Just a big, open room, somewhat brightly lit for dinner. FYI happy hour is 3-5 daily; some earlier reviews reported 3-6.
