This is a nice little diner. We were looking for a place for breakfast for my son's birthday. We live in the East Valley but we're up in Surprise visiting family for the holidays. I was kind of leery because the reviews were all over the place but decided to give it a try. The waitress was very nice and accommodating. She refilled my coffee multiple times, brought my son a cup of water because she noticed his juice was done, and brought my mom a second tea bag and pot of water. The waitress even brought crayons and coloring book pages for my 3 kids to keep them occupied while wait for our meal. At the end, she gave each kid 2 quarters so they can put it in the toy machine and get a prize. That was a hit for the kids. Food wise, I ordered the Belgium waffle and it was good. My daughter got the eggs and hash browns. The hash browns were cold, but it was also really cold outside, so not sure if it was because that was the last thing she decided to eat off her plate or if they truly weren't cook to a hot temperature. Portions were big and reasonably priced. My husband said the bacon was too salty, but my kids loved it and my mom said it was good. We will definitely try this place again.
