| - I think I had the nightmare hairstylist known as Billy on these yelp reviews. The name sounds familiar and he is a male approximately around 40. I dropped in this salon for a rush job trim before a wedding, thinking that nobody could screw that up. Lesson learned.
He started the visit by insulting my previous hairdresser for the layers in my hair, adding that I shouldn't have layers because my hair is "too frizzy." My hair is thin and pencil straight. I also have a round face. I've had layers my entire life to help give my hair volume and shape. This guy does not know women's hair. If you're a woman, don't let this guy touch your hair.
I asked for no more than 2 inches off my hair. I ended up with at least six inches cut off, after I told him I loved my long hair and I physically showed him how long I still wanted it. Not only did he cut it far too short, but he cut it extremely crooked, making him have to cut my hair shorter again to balance it out. Somehow this was my fault. He blamed his shitty cutting job on me, saying it must have been how I was seated in the chair. He became very agitated, ordering me to stand up when I tried to comment that my hair was very uneven and far too short. He refused to even listen to why I was dissatisfied with my haircut, further blaming me as he had me stand so he could cut the rest. What a horrible experience. This guy lacks technical styling skills and the personality to work with people. My hair is still uneven. I could have gotten a better haircut if I gave a drunk friend a pair of scissors.
Judging from my experience and the other reviews, Billy must be related to the owner ... no way another salon would keep this guy,
